April 14

The boys have learned the sign for "flower" and they are using it incessantly. Just when you think it's safe to eat at McDonald's Tyler notices the fake flowers and he must smell them. Oh well, it's cute. These pictures are taken in our back yard. I love the tulips and daffodils because I don't do a darn thing to them and they're pretty every year. I love bulbs!!!

April 6

We're trying to get pictures of them in their footie pajamas before they grow out of them or it becomes too hot to wear them. Tyler's actually glow in the dark (the first time he wore them he couldn't go to sleep because he was trying to pick the glowing things off his outfit).

April 4

It was the first nice day of spring so they had dinner al fresco.

April 2

So we gave them cupcakes for their half-birthday (a day late, I know, but they don't care). Nicholas -- he really liked it. Tyler would have none of it, not even after we put pure frosting in his mouth. I don't know what we're going to do with that kid...

April 1

This is perhaps my favorite picture of Tyler to date. He's sitting on a drum, with woobie, reading a book. Does it get any better than that?

GO GATORS!

March 22 (redux)

Later, we visited Mama C at work. The helo was grounded for flights (something was getting fixed) so she wasn't going anywhere. We went up to the tower while they were flying around testing some stuff. The boys were enthralled. The decided, however, that the helicopter was much more interesting when they were inside than when they could touch it. We're just feeding Nicholas' fascination.

March 22

If you guessed that hot chocolate was in those cups you'd be right. And no, they will not be disengaged from their mouths any time soon.

March 21

The first try at cereal with milk. They didn't really take to it.

March 17

Nicholas' cars say "vroom" but Tyler's cars say "whee!". Viva la difference!

March 16

Nicholas has that gleeful look because he isn't wearing a diaper. Hey, the kid needed a little air time and I figured that snapping the shirt would help "catch any output". He loved it!

March 12

Who needs Montessori preschool when you have a dollar store and a creative mom? This is what they would call a "transfer activity". It's pretty hard to get those poker chips through the tiny hole when you're little, you know.
