May 27

This is the first time they've held their own bottles for me. Usually, Tyler will do it but never the two of them together. I had to memorialize the occasion.

May 26

Nicholas says "Tummy time is over! Over I say!!" Tyler, meanwhile is completely engrossed in chewing on a spoon.

May 25

Tyler is all about the icee. The fact that he's grabbed his foot just makes him that much happier. Let me tell you, teething blows.

May 24

"Don't you dare take away my icee. You can't have the icee."

May 23

The smile that lights up a room. I describe Nicholas as a "high-voltage baby".

May 22

Look at Tyler sitting up big and strong. He's such a big baby!

May 21

This is one of Tyler's best smiles. Plus, you get to see the bottom teeth.

May 17

"Hey baby, do you need a ride?"

May 16

Nicholas playing with the "wrong" end of the walker. He really likes the spinny thing.

May 15

Tyler kicks his little legs really fast when he wants something. In this case, he would like to be replanted in a sitting position.

May 14

Nicholas is the picture of concentration.

May 13

"Hey mom! Look what I can do!"

May 12

Nicholas has started doing this thing we're calling "spinning". He rotates on his tummy from one side to the other -- so far just moving to the right -- to get closer to toys. One of these days they'll figure out how to use their legs and we'll be in real trouble.

May 10

"Hi Mom! Am I messy enough to get a new outfit?"

May 9

Tyler is tamping down that Cheerio. He hates it when they escape...

May 8

Party time!!!

May 5

Tyler doesn't look too steady. Must be about naptime.

May 4

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure they're watching Teletubbies.

April 30

The cats feel they need more attention. Zena is so put out that she'll actually sit next to a baby to get petted. This sort of behavior is unheard of.

April 29

They gave my boy a french fry! A french fry! Here I am, trying to make sure they eat good food, and they give him a french fry! And then they took a picture of it!!!

April 24

Every once in a while Tyler will give you this gigantic grin that lets you know all is right with the world. This is one of those times.

April 22

Tyler says, "One moment while I ponder the edibility of this gelatinous substance... yes, rather tasty."

April 21

"Bring that camera over here -- do you see what they're feeding me?!? Peas! I hate peas! Why does a guy have to do to get green beans around here?"
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

April 12

I have no idea how Nicholas got into this position.

April 11

Look at those big babies sitting up tall!

April 10

"It's my turn to ring up!" "No, it's my turn!" Thank goodness they can't talk yet.

April 9

I love it when Nicholas gives his big gummy smile. It warms the cockles of my heart.

April 8

Books are fun! I don't know what Tyler's thinking, but this is one of the "naked baby" shots we can actually post online. Warm air is the best thing for diaper rash, you know.

April 8

They love their books! Tyler is very serious about something in this picture.

April 7

They are learning how to drink out of sippy cups. I take the "leftovers" from their meal and put them in the exersaucer while I clean up. Tyler has clearly made the connection between the cup and formula. However, he's a little confused about angles and viscosity.

April 6

I have no idea how they got in this position. I swear when I left they were side-by-side and facing the other direction.

April 5

Attention! Attention all shoppers! Spring has sprung!

April 2

They LOVE this toy that their Aunt Beki sent them. In fact, I can't put it between them or there will be tears.

April 1

Looks like Nicholas favors green beans over peas.

March 30

We took the boys on their first trip to the park with swings. Nicholas thought it was pretty cool but Tyler is reserving judgement for the time being. He's not sure he likes the breeze blowing through his hair.

March 29

Nicholas found this book all by himself. I walked in because he was too quiet and he just grinned at me.

March 28

Easter was their baby dedication at church. Don't they look great in their big-boy outfits?
