Here is Tyler modeling his boots onesie. Such a cowboy, that one.
Nicholas jumping around in the jumper. We discovered that the secret (if there is such a thing) is taking off their socks so they can get a good grip on the floor. He's wearing his "boots" onesie from Kate's mom.
"Gee Mom, thanks for letting me play with the common cold," thinks Tyler. What can I say; he's a doctor's son! You can get your very own cold, or bookworm, Black Death and more at Giant Microbes
This is how Tyler flirts with cute women. What you can't see in this picture is the little "heh" he says. He has good taste too -- here he's flirting with Melissa Etheridge!! Good boy!
This is probably my favorite picture of Nicholas. It really captures his smile. Who could not love that baby?
We call this behavior "swimming" -- he pulls all four limbs off the ground and wiggles them around. Only Tyler does it so far. We have a video of it I can share if I can find hosting for it.
"Who's foot is this? Is it good for sucking?" says Nicholas. Meanwhile, Tyler is thinking, "Who is playing with my foot?"
Nicholas contemplating strategies for successful swallowing of cube. He decided to gum it into submission.
Nicholas demonstrating his incredible wingspan. Soon nothing will be out of reach. The poor cats will be traumatized.
Hi, my name is Tyler and I have no sense of perspective. I think I can fit this thing in my mouth as if I were a snake.
A short pause due to sickness on the part of all parties. Sorry folks, but you didn't really want to see pictures of the snot production.
A picture of Tyler and Nicholas playing together in the batting cage. You can really start to see how much they've grown.
Nicholas is standing boy! He does not like to sit, thank you very much. He'd prefer to stand. Kate is giving him some balance but he's doing that mostly on his very own.
How Tyler manages to get his feet out of every outfit ever devised I will never know, but he's always happy when he does.
Tyler is demonstrating the proper carrying technique for the coupon box; it's a very important job assigned to the front baby during grocery shopping.
All ready to go out! Aren't those hats just the cutest thing ever in the history of the world?
Playing on the floor can be fun! Here you can see they've decided to hold hands before the black and white bead-thing devours them.
Okay, they're both in the "sucking hands" phase. I haven't seen a full face in days. The funniest thing is when one of them starts sucking on the other's fist; funny looks abound.
Tummy time for everyone! Nicholas has rolled over and Tyler is considering following his example.
You wouldn't know from this picture that Tyler's still not sleeping through the night. He looks so peaceful, the little bugger.
I'm going to cry in relief the day they can hold their own bottles. We keep practicing (Tyler is demonstrating) in the hopes that day will come soon.
Nicholas is modeling his Old Navy outfit on his way to his MRI. It's the only outfit we had that didn't have metal of any kind. Aren't those stripey pants just too adorable? He was a champ for the whole thing; he didn't even complain when they added another hour of fasting for him.
