Deja Vu

Nicholas is back home again. He's feeling much better after two rounds of IV antibiotics. They tell us that sometimes they just get unexplained fevers after brain/skull surgery. (Of course, why then do they tell us to take their temperature at least daily and come into the ER if it's over 101? Do they like to worry us?) He's healing wonderfully and is much more active than he was while in the hospital. Tyler is happy to see him as well.

The picture today is the incision. It goes from ear to ear and has a beautiful wavy line on top. They did it with the absorbable stitches so he doesn't have to be uncomfortable when they try to take them out (thank goodness!). It's healing nicely and you won't be able to tell he had skull surgery unless he gets a buzz cut, which is highly unlikely.
