Nicholas is appalled that I'm a Mets fan. I keep trying to tell him that they've got the pitching this year but he continues to be concerned about their strength up the middle. I keep reassuring him that Reyes and Matsui will figure it out by midseason -- they might not make the playoffs this year, but they will next. Meanwhile, we might consider kidnapping Leo Mazzone.
